Ho Tram, Vietnam: 13 October 2015 – The Grand Ho Tram Strip today announced that it has been awarded both “Luxury Hotel and Spa of the Year – Vietnam’ in the prestigious Luxury Travel Guide Awards for 2015, and Best Luxury Hotel 2015 in Vietnam in the Business Destination Travel Awards.
In addition to these two, resort President Michael Kelly also confirmed that it has had a third accolade bestowed upon it, “however we have to stay a little tight lipped on that one until later this year,” he remarked with a smile.
“It is an incredible honor to have these titles bestowed upon us,” said Mr. Kelly. “Awards and recognition such as this highlight all that the team has been able to achieve here in Ho Tram.”
Each of the awards honor hotels and resorts worldwide that achieve exemplary standards of service, amenities and facilities in countries around the world.
The Luxury Travel Guide Award is based on a detailed submission process that was judged by an international panel of hospitality industry veterans and professionals. It is conducted by the Luxury Travel Guide, a London based publication that is distributed to 400,000 enthusiastic and affluent travel aficionados around the world.
“The team at The Grand Ho Tram Strip have developed a truly stunning property, utterly unique in the Asia Pacific region, integrating the components of some the world’s best beach-side developments, with a remarkable F&B offering, a luxurious spa, one of the region’s top golf courses, and Vietnam’s first international standard casino. It is a worthy winner of 2015’s Luxury Resort and Spa for Vietnam, and sets a new standard for the category that other properties will have to work very hard to rival in future,” said Mr. Ibrahim Zulfqar, Luxury Travel Guide Awards Project Manager and Head of Awards Panel.
Feature Editor William Owen from Business Destination Travel Awards agreed with Mr. Zulfqar’s sentiments, recognizing the products and services being offered at Ho Tram as representing the best of the travel and hospitality sector in this fast growing south east Asia nation.
“The team at The Grand Ho Tram Strip has continued to forge higher standards, offering wholly better services and standing head and shoulders above the competition for this category,” said Mr. Owen. “The company’s dedication to fantastic customer service and expansion is certainly the benchmark for others within the industry.”
“While awards such as these are an honor for all of us at The Grand, the real honor is seeing the delighted faces of our guests as we play to full houses week-in-week-out at the property,” said Mr. Kelly.
